PPL - Private Pilot Licence
Private Pilot Licence is a qualification that permits the holder to act as the pilot of an aircraft (or helicopter) privately, i.e. not for remuneration. PPL is the most common type of licence in general aviation. Private pilots are able to take friends or family members for beautiful trip or fly for own business. Private Pilot Licence is also the first step of many in your aviation career.
Students that are assigned to the course may come to the Flying Academy and use its facilities and materials for studying anytime.
Lectors are also available through appointment, outside of the official consultation days.
Course entry requirements
- Minimum age of 17 years
- Class 2 medical certificate
Privileges
The privileges of the holder of a PPL(A) are to act, but not for remuneration, as pilot-in-command or co-pilot of any aeroplane engaged in non-revenue flights.
Course duration and description
Theoretical course consists of two modules. Total instruction time given is 24 hours after which you will be prepared for JAA exams. You will also get good practical advice from our experienced instructors.
